Stein Eriksen Lodge Announces Extensive Renovation Project

Multimillion Dollar Remodel and Enhancement Effort Currently Underway

PARK CITY, Utah (January 13, 2015) – Stein Eriksen Lodge has embarked on a multimillion dollar renovation project to the renowned Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond property that is slated for completion December 2015. Totaling approximately $8 million, the venture is designed to further augment guests' world-class, lavish experience at the award-winning destination. 

Highlights of the remodel include updating 100 of the Lodge's 180 units with new flooring, paint, soft and hard goods, granite counter tops, Viking ovens, fixtures, hot tubs and furnishings. The renovation project will ensure all appliances, technology and décor is of the highest quality and state-of-the-art standards.

In addition to the room renovations, the Mountain Lodge will be updated with new carpets, woodwork and furniture. All renovation design and styling will be overseen by Juxtapose, a high-end Park City interior design firm. 

“The intent of the design team is to enhance and update Stein Eriksen Lodge's refined, yet rustic, look and incorporate clean-lined elements, with everything inspired by Stein Eriksen's Norwegian-influenced aesthetic,” said Jane Greer, principal and designer with Juxtapose. “We will enhance the charm of what is quintessentially Stein Eriksen, while creating a space where guests will enjoy increased comfort rooted in functionality.”
