Canyons Village Summer Concert Lineup and Dates:

Saturday, June 24:

Jamestown Revival

Jamestown Revival is a group formed by Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance. After growing tired of a life mining tiger's eye in the foothills of the Texas hill country, they hit the road to conceive a style that could be described as back-porch- folk rock.

Saturday, July 1:

Tony Holiday and the Velvetones

Tony Holiday and The Velvetones mix their many influences into a musical gumbo of Dirty Rock and Down Home Blues. With Tony Holiday on harmonica and guitar, Adam Fifield on the Hammond organ, and Dave Idan on drums, it's a compact trio that packs a big punch and will keep the place dancing till the sun comes up

New Orleans Suspects

New Orleans Suspects began playing together in 2009 as a pick-up band at the Maple Leaf in New Orleans. Comprised of some of the most seasoned, highly respected players in NOLA, they quickly began attracting large crowds from San Francisco to New York. In five short years, they’ve released four CDs and established themselves as one of New Orleans’ best supergroups. The fourth and most recent album, Kaleidoscoped, released in September 2016 on both CD and vinyl, is being hailed as their best and most original to date, being added to over 100 radio stations in North America and receiving rave reviews.

John Nemeth

John Németh had already established himself among the very top ranks of blues musicians and modern soul singers when he decided to break the mold with his new record, FEELIN’ FREAKY. Drawing from his strong influences in blues and R&B, as well as contemporary sounds in hip hop and rock & roll, John creates music that is personal as well as universal. He creates his songs from melodies and phrases he draws from the sounds of life, from early-morning Memphis songbirds to the din of the city.

Saturday, July 22:

VanLadyLove

VanLadyLove hails from Provo Utah, home of bands such as Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, Joshua James, The Used, and others. Inspired by this hot bed of talent, the band has never had small goals and has grown a national and international fan base using a mixture of YouTube videos, social media and touring. The band prides itself on sincere songwriting and a captivating live performance. Recently VanLadyLove won the “#1 Artist on the Verge 2014” award, a national honor given by a team of top A&R scouts, talent buyers, booking agents, media taste-makers and other industry experts at the New Music Seminar in New York City.

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors is a four-piece band from Memphis and East Nashville offering fans a distinct blend of Americana, rock and country. A road warrior for more than a decade, Drew Holcomb spent his adulthood on-stage and on the road, traveling from place to place with a catalog of vibrant, honest songs that explore the full range of American roots music. He turns a new corner with 2017's Souvenir, a highly collaborative album that finds Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors focusing on the things that truly stick with you - including family and friends, music and memories, people and places - in a fast-moving world.

Saturday, August 12:

K Phillips

K’s first release, American Girls, garnered accolades from the likes of No Depression, Buffalo News, and Daytrotter for its blend of the literate and the lowdown. Many of these publications spotlighted a mythical essence about K, remarking about his mainstay Stetson hat, his chiseled Hank Williams-esque good looks, and a character quality that’s both vulnerable and reckless. His latest album, Dirty Wonder (Rock Ridge Music), out March 10, 2017, is a breakup record that’s part autobiographical, part imagined, and part observational, chronicling a third-party breakup K witnessed firsthand. The impactfully concise songs on Dirty Wonder are complimented by teardrop pedal steel guitar, rollicking blues piano, fuzzed out guitars, and gospel girl group vocals.

Saturday, September 2:

Corey Harper

Corey Harper’s blend of acoustic Folk/Americana, Country and Blues pays homage and builds upon the storied singer/songwriters of past and present. As a guitar player, and songwriter, Harper crafted his sound from growing up around 60s/70s rock and soul music, as well as drawing inspiration from newer artists such as John Mayer and Ben Howard. Harper’s debut EP “On The Run” ambitiously showcases his lyricism, and melodic guitar playing that has caught the attention of many.
