Snowbasin, UT – June 25, 2015 –Winemaker’s Dinner with St. Michelle Wine Estates at Snowbasin Resort on July 8th will give guests the opportunity to taste and explore wine with a paired 5 course meal. Many of the wines are special order and unavailable in state. Brenda Lobbato, a representative from Ste. Michelle Wine Estates will share the history and passion of Washington wine as well as answer any questions about the wine. There will also be live entertainment.
The menu includes a social appetizer of mushroom and gruyere crostini, tartlets with brie cream and fruit and roasted marinated pork tenderloin, peppadew and green apple and choice of Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Crest H3 Sauvignon Blank, or Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut NV. A salad of mache and watercress with watermelon, basil, goat cheese and honey apple vinaigrette is paired with Ste. Michelle Eroica Riesling. Uova Da Raviolo, ricotta and egg yolk filled black pepper ravioli with pancetta browned butter is paired with Antinori Castello Della Sala Bramito Chardonnay. Coq Au Vin, red wine braised Cornish game hen with foraged mushrooms, cauliflower mash and pan seared haricot vert is paired with Erath Estate Selection Pinot Noir. For dessert, a warm vanilla cake with maple-caramel sauce served with French vanilla bean ice cream is paired with a Torres Moscatel from Spain. This special Dining Discovery event is limited to 80 guests. Reservations are mandatory.
