PARK CITY, Utah (May 2016) — Take mom to a Park City restaurant this Mother’s Day for a meal she won’t soon forget.

On Sunday, May 8, restaurants across the Park City area are offering a range of special menus and discounts, from full-bore brunches at Ghidotti’s, Grub Steak, Powder and the State Road Tavern, to live music at Riverhorse and spa treatments at Montage.

“We’ve got something for everyone this Mother’s Day,” PCARA executive director Ginger Ries said. “Join us for a fun, tasty, stress-free and memorable meal.”

THE BRASS TAG

Special menu items

The Brass Tag is serving up mom’s special chicken fried steak, with a contemporary twist: three chicken fried steak sliders, served on a Hawaiian roll with rich country gravy, accompanied by roasted garlic and parmesan mashed potatoes and sweet corn for $17.00.  The Brass Tag’s regular menu will also be available.

 

CUISINE UNLIMITED

Catered menu, $29.50 or a la carte

If you’re celebrating Mother’s Day at home, make it truly special Park City’s premiere caterer. Cuisine Unlimited is serving raspberry-and-mascarpone-stuffed French toast, deep-dish quiche, honey-glazed duck bacon, chicken sausage, grilled mushroom Carpaccio, vanilla yogurt panna cotta, scones, fresh fruit and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Choose a la carte – prices range from $3 to $5.25 a person – or the whole menu for $29.50 a person. Order online by visiting www.cuisineunlimited.com/mothersday. Orders must be placed by noon Friday, May 6.

 

DEER VALLEY BAKERY

Don’t miss Deer Valley Bakery’s Fresh Berry Tarts with lemon cream filling, sweet dough, raspberries and blueberries (3.5” tarts) for $8.00; Chocolate Cheesecake with milk chocolate glaze and cookie crust (3.5” size) for $8.00; assorted French Macaroons, six per order featuring two each of raspberry, mocha and pistachio flavors, for $9.00. Although not required, pre-ordering is encouraged at 435-615-2400 and pick up will be at the Deer Valley Grocery~Café, located at 1375 Deer Valley Drive.

 

DEER VALLEY GROCERY~CAFÉ

Special menu items

Stop by Deer Valley’s charming Grocery~Café for special breakfast toast, featuring mascarpone cheese, roasted rhubarb chutney, Clifford Farm honey and toasted hazelnuts on wild rice harvest bread; or a salmon lunch special with sweet pea and basil pesto, black sesame seeds, local micro-greens, housemade rice noodle crisp, lemon mosto oil and fennel pollen salt. The toast is $6.75, the salmon just $12.75, and the Grocery~Café’s regular menu will also be available.

 

GHIDOTTI’S

Brunch buffet, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

$50 for adults, $20 for children 12 and younger

Ghidotti’s Italian restaurant is serving a delectable brunch for Mother’s Day. 

 

GRUB STEAK

Brunch buffet, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

$30.75 for adults, $15.75 for children younger than 12

This longtime Park City favorite is serving a delicious brunch buffet. Enjoy carved bone-in ham and roast beef; grilled salmon, bacon-and-cheddar-stuffed burger sliders, and honey ginger-roasted butternut squash; chilled shrimp in ponzu sauce with mango dip, prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, and quiche with Monterey jack cheese; plus cheeses and breakfast staples like eggs benedict, cheese blintzes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries fresh salad and fruit. 

 

POWDER

Brunch buffet, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

$75 for adults, $25 for children 10 and younger

Powder’s serving a range of mouthwatering selections for Mother’s Day. Choose cold selections like poached jumbo prawns, smoked Utah trout, West Coast oysters and assorted fruits and salads; plus hot items like carved prime rib and leg of lamb, braised beef short ribs, Utah red trout, Kurobuta pork loin, tomato bisque and cream of mushroom soup. An assortment of traditional pies, cakes, pastries and cookies will be on hand for dessert, and a host of breakfast classics will be available until 1 p.m., including omelets made to order, buttermilk biscuits and cinnamon oatmeal with dried fruit and brown sugar. 

RIVERHORSE ON MAIN

Brunch with live music

Take mom to Riverhorse’s acclaimed, brunch, featuring live music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plus selections like fresh-baked banana bread and cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, classic eggs benedict, pancakes, Nutella-stuffed French toast and chicken-and-biscuits.

 

SQUATTERS ROADHOUSE GRILL AND WASATCH BREW PUB

Drink specials

Bring mom by for a brew or two at Squatter’s Roadhouse Grill and Wasatch Brew Pub. The restaurants are serving $2 Midday Marys, nooners and mimosas, plus their full brunch and regular menus. 

 

STATE ROAD TAVERN

Brunch buffet, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

$33.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 2-12 

The South, the West and the Shore are converging on State Road Tavern at Dejoria Center in Kamas. For Mother’s Day this destination is peel-n-eat shrimp, fried chicken-n-waffles, king crab legs, and crab benedict, plus brunch staples like house-smoked Virginia ham, herb-crusted prime rib, Utah trout, eggs any style, sausage, bacon, pastries, fresh fruit, granola and more.
