Snowboard blogger Introduction

By Snowboard Muse \ October 14 2014

Hey, my name is Andrew Muse. I was born and raised on the north shore of Massachusetts. After high school with no funds for college, and no idea what I would study, I decided I wanted to move west. Having never been further west than New York, I applied to every ski resort I could find. I took a few courses that summer to put myself on a path to becoming a heli ski/snowboard guide: Outdoor Emergency Care, Mountain Travel and Rescue, and NAS Avalanche Phase 1. After applying to thirty or forty resorts, my best opportunity was a ski patrol position at Canyons. With barely $1000 to my name and no place to live, I made it happen. After one taste of the greatest snow on earth, limitless adventure and the amazing, natural diversity of Utah, I knew I was here to stay.

I have made Park City my home for the last eight years and have rode 100+ days each season.

In the last couple years filming and documenting my adventures has been a priority. I am the regional director of The First Chair Foundation, a non-profit that gets kids from low-income homes into ski and snowboard programs. I also wait tables at night on Main St. Park City to fund my lifestyle.

This winter, here's what you can expect from me: slaying epically deep pow, shredding the world class terrain parks in Utah, edits featuring local pros, groms and everything snowboarding. Let’s all having an amazing season. See you on the mountain!!!

Here's a few edit that I've compiled over the last few years.
