You might be as surprised as I was to learn that within Utah's ski industry, there are open positions for glassblowers, an AIRE avalanche safety educator, Halloween Lift Ride attendants, graphic designers, master plumbers, and more for the upcoming 2023–24 winter season. There's a multitude of options and directions you could take your career by stepping into the $2.54 billion dollar ski industry in Utah. Brian Head Ski Resort, located near Cedar City, Utah, strives to start its season early and end late. It's a great option for seasonal employees looking to juice their winter. With a projected open date of November 10, Brian Head is already well into listing open positions for the upcoming season. Cherry Peak Resort

Cherry Peak is one of Utah's youngest ski areas, in operation in Cache Valley since 2015. This small but mighty resort serves the local community and the many university students who live in the region. Known for great powder, uncrowded slopes, and friendly faces, Cherry Peak is a great time! Cherry Peak will host a job fair at their main lodge in November. Nordic Valley is another gem of a resort with an amazing family feel and community. The season at Nordic typically begins in December and the resort is looking for a number of management positions so it's a great time to apply for a career at Nordic. Open positions include Ski Patrol Manager, a Lift Maintenance Manager and a Lift Maintenance Mechanic. Nordic will be hiring for all positions in the coming months.

Park City Mountain is an enormous resort requiring large amounts of employees and dedicated staff members to keep the mountain humming. With multiple base areas, numerous restaurants 7,300 acres, over 330 trails, and a whopping 43 lifts, Park City is a major employer in Summit County.

Park City and Vail Resorts offers a starting wage of $20 per hour, a free ski pass, and a 40% discount on retail goods.
