People think winter is over, and maybe because its soared to 80 degrees ten times this year in places like Chicago, DC, Philly and Baltimore. Well guess what, winter isn't over until I say it's over, especially here in Utah.
If you recall, last year Powderhound Cat did a blog called the 10 reasons you know ski season is coming to an end. At number six I stated: "It's not over until I say it's over!" See for yourself. Fast forward to the 40 second mark and you'll get the point. And ok, I admit it, maybe this year's snow totals are nowhere near as impressive as last years, but spring powder days will continue to happen here in Utah, I can guarantee it!
That's not to say we haven't had our fair share of beautiful sunny, warm days as well. But we've also had some ridiculously good powder days last week, I'm talking Cold Smoke! The stuff you dream about. April is the time of year when you need to bring your flip flops and your ski boots on your vacation. Here is why...
Oh and if you can't figure it out from the video the Canyons Resort knows how to do apres ski right! Live bands, salsa eating contests and ridiculously good margaritas at Red Tail Grill. Red Tail is located at the base of the Orange Bubble lift. I think I just found my favorite apres ski spot in Utah!
