Did you know Utah has the airport with the least delays and some of the most accessible ski resorts in the U.S.? Enjoy a hassle free ski vacation in Utah.
Utah Ranks for Best US Airport & Accessible Ski Resorts

Utah ski resorts received their first dusting of snow this month…do you know what that means???  It’s time to start planning! Wooohooo! I’m so ready for ski season to start I can hardly contain myself. Luckily I live in Salt Lake City less than an hour from 11 resorts (don’t hate me….).

If you aren’t so fortunate, you can still plan smart for a hassle-free ski vacation. Salt Lake City International Airport offers over 80 non-stop flights from cities across the United States. Let me give you a real example of what that means. One day last season I had breakfast in Orlando and was on the slopes by lunch. Heck ya! I was happy to be home.

It’s no surprise that in Ski Magazine’s Annual Reader Survey of the top 10 most accessible resorts, seven were in Utah, including the top place, Deer Valley. “The greatest snow on earth on some of the best terrain in North America, with almost unbeatable accessibility from a major international airport,” commented one reader.

Flight delays can seriously dampen stoke. Because some airports have a better track record in this area than others, I try to plan my trips accordingly. Travel & Leisure’s November issue noted that Salt Lake City International Airport has the lowest percentage of delays in the U.S. Save their graphic below to use when planning your next trip.
