The second annual POW DAY is around the corner. Please join Ski Utah, Protect our Winters and SNOCRU at Alta, Powder Mountain, Snowbird and Sundance Ski on January 13, 2017 to raise awareness both locally and globally around climate change and to help preserve powder days for future generations.
Why January 13? January 13, 2017 isn't just another winter day. Based on over 50 years of snow data, this is statistically the snowiest day in Utah! This is truly Utah's POW day.
Take action and ride the SKI BUS or carpool to the mountains. While supplies last, those who carpool with three or more skiers/riders per vehicle or ride the Ski Bus will receive a POW DAY beanie, along with an invitation to ski/ride with a POW athlete, attend a POW DAY party, win prizes and more. ON POW DAY, check-in on the SNOCRU app so we can determine number of participants with the ultimate goal of knowing how many CARBON EMISSIONS we're reduced.
