Utah's Fall Beer Festivals

Local Lexi

By Local Lexi \ September 9 2022

As August fades to September and we feel the first hint of chill in the evening air, skiers and snowboarders everywhere turn their attention to the fast-fading season.

Fall signals the start of something good and what better way to celebrate than quaffing a refreshing brewski at one of our famed ski areas. Don't miss the action this autumn at the following Utah beer bashes and enjoy an excuse to welcome winter!

Snowbird releases a limited edition mug each year and this year’s 50th celebration mug will certainly be a collector’s item someday. Participants who have purchased mugs in the past can bring them for a discount on beer. Revelers can expect live music, great food, artisan crafts, fun merch, great beer and the haunting call of the alpenhorns

The best way to maximize Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is to snag a weekend package with lodging, activity passes, mugs and brats. Visit Snowbird’s website for more information and package deals. You can check out our Snowbird Oktoberfest Guide for additional info.

SNOWBASIN SNOWWIESEN FALL FESTIVAL
Sundays in September

Swing by Snowbasin Resort Sundays in September for their annual SnowWiesn fall festival. There’s Bavarian food, commemorative beer steins, cold drinks, live music, local vendors and fun activities for kids and adults alike. Give the Masskrugstemmen a go, a lively challenge involving a stein holding competition to score winter lift tickets. It’s harder than it sounds! Try your hand at Hammerschlagen and see if you can drive a nail into a large tree stump or stick with good old-fashioned Corn Hole.

The fun starts at 11 a.m. and the music kicks off at noon. Dogs are welcome but they must be leashed and are not permitted on the patio or within the lodges.
