PARK CITY WINE FESTIVAL RETURNS THIS SUMMER

The Park City Food & Wine Classic returns for its eleventh straight year in July, featuring more than two dozen food and wine tastings, seminars, bike rides, hikes, fishing excursions and more — all led by world-renowned experts in Park City’s famous Wasatch Mountains.

PARK CITY, Utah (Feb. 2, 2015) — Park City’s knee deep in snow, but it’s never too soon to start thinking about summer!

 

The Park City Food & Wine Classic returns for its eleventh straight year in July, featuring more than two dozen food and wine tastings, seminars, bike rides, hikes, fishing excursions and more — all led by world-renowned experts in Park City’s famous Wasatch Mountains.

 

Tickets went on sale Thursday, Jan. 29, at www.parkcityfoodandwineclassic.com.

 

“This event blends the absolute best of Park City: outstanding food and drinks, and world-class outdoors,” said Jason Ornstein, owner of Team Player Productions, which organizes the Food & Wine Classic. “There are experiences for every sense — taste, smell, sight, touch. I can’t think of a better way to spend a long summer weekend.”

 

The weekend runs from Wednesday, July 8, to Sunday, July 12, including:

  • An exclusive kickoff party in Salt Lake City that features progressive tasting and pairing  
  • The classic’s annual Wine on the Mountain celebration, including a champagne reception, live auction for the People’s Health Clinic, and new location at High Star Ranch
  • The Stroll of Park City, this year featuring more stroll stops than ever, plus The End Up, a post-stroll after-party on Main Street
  • The Toast of Park City, with a new location at the Montage at Deer Valley Resort featuring the top chefs from the Montage collection of resorts

 

Dozens of the classic’s famed seminars will also be on offer, including mountain biking at Stein Eriksen, hiking at Montage, road biking with High West and programs at Victory Ranch, plus food and wine pairing luncheon seminars throughout Park City, and more surprises to be announced.

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the People’s Health Clinic, a nonprofit that provides healthcare for uninsured individuals and families in Utah’s Summit and Wasatch counties. Last year, the classic raised more than $30,000 for the clinic. In all, Team Player Productions has raised more than $1.4 millions for local charities.

People’s Health Clinic is a community-funded, nonprofit health clinic that provides high-quality primary care to uninsured individuals and families in Summit and Wasatch counties. The clinic’s services include pediatric, chronic disease, prenatal and general adult medical services. The patients seen at the People’s Health Clinic are local residents who contribute to making our community exceptional. In fact, 18 percent (or 1 in 5) of the clinic’s patients are employees of area restaurants.
