It’s all about the ladies in these Sundance clinics

By Snow Travelista \ December 22 2014

I’m on a kick to level-up my skiing skills. Certainly the Monster Dump I got to play in yesterday helped, I’m still grinning…but back to my point. Clinics are an excellent way to build skills and are often more affordable than private lessons. I hope to use one to move me from okay on blacks, to shedding them, so I’ve been doing some research. Last week I shared some of the awesome clinic offerings at Alta Ski Area. This week I’m highlighting the ladies ski/snowboard clinics at Sundance.

What I like about a ladies clinic is the opportunity to meet gals who like to hit it hard on the slopes. I like skiing with my sweetie, but there’s something about girl-time that feeds my soul. We support each other in a way the coed groups often miss, and there’s no slack for being “the weaker sex.” Instead it’s encouragement mixed with some good giggles. Granted this is simply my opinion and preference.

The Sundance clinics are offered from beginner to advanced level, so there’s a sweet spot for every skier. I also looooove that they have a plan for the kids too, solving the childcare question.

If you’re planning a Utah ski vacation, don’t forget to check out some of the clinic options available. They are a great way to get warmed up again after not skiing for a while.
