Snow tubing and sledding are a great way to get your fill of the great outdoors during the winter. Below you’ll find some of our favorite places where you can slide on snow in Utah off the ski slopes.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Ski pants or the warmest pants you own - preferably waterproof material
  • Ski jacket or the warmest jacket you own - preferably waterproof material
  • Long-sleeved warm layer underneath your jacket 
  • Snow boots or waterproof shoes 
  • Helmet (optional) for extra safety 
  • Goggles (optional) to keep the snow out of your eyes
  • Beanie


RESORT LOCATIONS

Woodward Park City: What use to be Gorgoza Park, is now the incredible Woodward Park City. Woodward Park City's groomed tubing hill is the longest in Utah and is open both day and night. With two moving carpets to take you up the tubing hill, all you’ll need to do is sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful scenery as the carpets do the hard work.

Soldier Hollow in Midway: With 1,200 feet of tubing lanes, Soldier Hollow leaves ample room for long and speedy runs down their tubing hill. While you zoom down the tubing lanes you, and your family will be able to jam out courtesy of Soldier Hollow's built-in sound system. Open both day and night!

Wasatch Parc at Nordic Valley: Sliding in to fill the need for tubing in Eden, Utah, Wasatch Parc has built a glorious tubing hill that you and your family are sure to love. Wasatch Parc has laid claim to being the steepest and fastest of all tubing hills. We dare you to try their tubing hill and see if they truly are the fastest and steepest around.

Cherry Peak Resort outside Richmond, Utah: Cherry Peak is home to a great family-friendly ski resort AND tubing hill. Take a break from skiing and let the magic carpet do the work. Tubing can be reserved in three-hour blocks and is great for the whole family.

Mountain Dell Golf Course: The name can be deceiving; you might be asking yourself would anyone ever go to a golf course to go snow sledding? Well, at Mountain Dell Golf Course there is some prime real-estate to do some pretty awesome snow sledding just minutes up Parleys Canyon outside of Salt Lake City.
