EATING ESTABLISHMENT INTRODUCES WINTER MENU, WELCOMES NEW SOUS CHEF

The Eating Establishment, Park City’s longest-running full-service restaurant, is proud to announce its new hearty winter menu and introduce sous chef Martin Galicia.

PARK CITY, Utah (Jan. 6, 2016) — The Eating Establishment, Park City’s longest-running full-service restaurant, is proud to announce its new hearty winter menu and introduce sous chef Martin Galicia.

The winter menu features a range of inspired homemade dishes at family-friendly prices, from Texas meatloaf with chorizo sausage, herbs and roasted peppers, to trout almandine pan-fried with pine nut corn relish, plus mussels in white wine sauce with garlic and lemon herbs, and a beautiful 12-ounce prime rib.

“These selections are bringing back some great traditions like the prime rib, and introducing some new ones, like the Texas meatloaf – which we’re serving with garlic mashed potatoes and red gravy – and the trout almandine, what we like to call Mountain Trout,” manager Meredith Cervantes said. “These are some delicious dishes perfect to warm up you and your family on a cold winter night.”

Helping run the kitchen is Martin Galicia, a 30-year veteran of the Eating Establishment who’s had long experience in the Park City culinary scene, and will be overseeing the kitchen during dinner service as its new sous chef.

“Martin’s such an integral part of our family here at The Double E; we’re excited for this next step and to watch his success in the weeks and months ahead,” Cervantes said.

Since opening in 1972, the Eating Establishment has been a beloved staple on Main Street, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Many menu items haven’t changed since day one – not the least the legendary Miner’s Dawn skillet – and new menu items have been added over time to keep pace with changing tastes. Throughout, the Eating Establishment has held true to its origins: traditional American food with a Western flare, served in a fun, friendly and casual setting, and all at affordable prices. There’s something for everyone at The Eating Establishment – especially families.

About The Eating Establishment

The Eating Establishment is the oldest full-service restaurant in Park City, Utah. Opened in 1972 when Park City was still just a budding tourist town, the restaurant has since grown into a beloved Main Street staple, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Many menu items haven’t changed since day one, and the legendary Miner’s Dawn skillet – seasoned potatoes, melted cheese, basted eggs and wheat toast – helped popularize breakfast skillets near and far. New menu items have been added over time to keep pace with changing tastes, but “The Double E” still holds true to its origins: traditional American food with a Western flare, served in a fun, friendly and casual setting, and all at affordable prices. There’s something for everyone at The Eating Establishment – especially families. Book your reservation on Eating Establishment's website, www.theeatingestablishment.net, or via Open Table.
