PARK CITY, Utah (March 2017) — Imperial House, a multi-service property of top-tier accommodations and private event space, has officially opened its doors at the top of Park City, Utah’s Historic Main Street. Featuring a luxury penthouse, intimate meeting space, Riverhorse Provisions gourmet market, and all-inclusive concierge service – all walking distance to Main Street shops and Park City Mountain Resort’s Town Lift – Imperial House is the newest offering from the acclaimed Riverhorse Hospitality group.
“Imperial House’s unique combination of services gives Park City visitors the comforts of home with all the conveniences and personal touches of a hotel,” says Co-Owner and Executive Chef Seth Adams. “The versatility of the space allows us to tailor the experience for each of our guests, a top priority at all our Riverhorse Hospitality entities.”
The Imperial Hotel opened its doors in 1904 as a boarding house for single silver miners. The property briefly operated as an emergency hospital in 1918 during the Spanish Flu pandemic and survived a fire in 1940. When many residents left the area after the success of the silver mining era, the building was condemned in the early 1970s but was operating again by 1975 as a hotel. After decades of renovations and ownership changes, the establishment was most recently a private residence before transforming into today’s luxurious, indulgent Imperial House.
“Thoughtful, welcoming hospitality has been the constant theme here at 221 Main Street since the very beginning,” Adams. “We are incredibly proud to offer our guests our wide range of services and be the next chapter of this property’s rich, living history.”
Imperial House’s luxury living quarters include four spacious bedrooms, gourmet kitchen, and full dining and common areas with premium amenities. The Imperial Concierge Service offers personalized itinerary creation upon booking along with access to an exclusive staff of chefs, bartenders and drivers to ensure every need is anticipated and every desire fulfilled for every guest.
Intimate event spaces entice groups for corporate buyout events, business meetings, and private dinners. With the help of an appointed event specialist and in-home private chef and catering services, fully customizable offerings from casual fare to elegant fine dining are available to warrant an unforgettable group experience.
On the property’s ground floor, Riverhorse Provisions operates as a café and gourmet market. Guests and public patrons can enjoy fresh roasted coffee and espresso drinks, gourmet soups, salads and sandwiches, local craft beer, an extensive wine selection, grab-and-go items, and Riverhorse on Main’s private line of house-made favorites. Fish, filets and fresh produce are also available for in-home preparation along with other home accents like fresh floral bouquets, ceramics, and Riverhorse-branded specialty items for guests to add a personal touch of home to their stay.
