Alta, UT— What could be better on Thanksgiving than skiing Alta with family and friends? Thanksgiving dinner at Alta Lodge, prepared by Chef Sam Wolfe and his staff, featuring some special dishes this season.
This year the Lodge will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, beginning with two appetizers—roasted fig and Humboldt Fog cheese, and ahi poke and endive. A wild mushroom consommé and gold beet and mixed green salad with lemon thyme dressing will be followed with an organic farm raised turkey with apricot and wild rice dressing, pan gravy, cranberries and roasted root vegetables. The vegetarian entrée will be sweet potato shepherd’s pie. Dinner concludes with pumpkin or pecan pie or apple brie galette. Full beverage service is available.
Dinner is served from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $40 for adults, $20 for children ages 7-12 and $12 for ages 4-6, plus tax and 15% service charge. For reservations, please call 801-742-3500.
