A ski vacation with young kids doesn’t have to mean trading turns on the slopes or cutting your day short for nap time (I get it. Been there, done that with my kiddos many-a-season). But one of the most underrated perks of skiing in Utah is that many of the resorts offer on-mountain daycare or childcare services. This means you have the freedom to ski the terrain and timing of your choice while your youngest adventurers are cared for in safe, engaging environments.

Snowbird comments:
Gooooood morning Snowbird! It’s Owen, with your snow report for Sunday. It’s Sunday-Funday y’all! It was absolutely ripping on the mountain yesterday and today will be just as good. The snow softened up just right and was skiing so well all over, so I’m expecting similar spring skiing conditions. It’s going to be quite warm today with sunny skies and a high of 60°. If you’ve been wanting to ski in shorts or a t-shirt (or no shirt if you feel so inclined), today’s the day, as especially later in the day it’s going to feel pretty warm. The sun will be shining bright so don’t forget that sunscreen people. I did yesterday and… well it’s not a great look, so hey, don’t be dumb like me. Snowbird has transitioned to weekends-only operations and will be open Friday - Sunday, starting May 1 through 3. Snowbird is CLOSED midweek to the public for snow preservation efforts to provide the best late-season skiing/riding conditions and to extend the season to May 10th, which will be our FINAL day of operations. Scenic Tram rides will remain open, conditions permitting, 10 am to 2 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 1:30 pm Friday through Sunday. ALL uphill travel is closed and will remain closed midweek and through the weekend to allow snowcats to move snow around the moutain and continue snow preservation efforts. Please don't get in the way of one of those things, you would most definitely have a bad time. It's Surf Season at The Bird, so to quote that one surfer guy, "drop in, just smack the lip, wapow." Go get pitted today. #GMTB
