Surf’s up 🌊 – it’s your once-in-a-bluebird snow reporter Ciara here. Mountain Update: 8 am - 2 pm spring lift operations will remain in place through Sunday, March 29. Hours of operation will be reassessed for the following week. Surf Season is in full effect—slushy lines, buttery turns, and edges just vibing. Today's weather calls for mostly sunnyskies, with a high near 62 and a chance of showers after 3pm. Slather on the sunscreen, rock your favorite heart-shaped Pit Vipers and let's go! This weekend kicks off Plazapalooza. The Tram deck is the place to be from 1–4pm with live tunes from LapDog. Surf Season swag available—side effects may include questionable dance moves, instant besties and a friendship bracelet you can’t emotionally remove. Please note, due to current operating hours, Plazapalooza will run from 1-4pm this weekend only. You can also catch the Steve Young Ski Classic happening on Chickadee today with Wasatch Adaptive Sports. If you haven't yet gotten your Chickadee Fever badge on the Snowbird App, now's the time. The Chickadee Lift will close for the 2025-26 season for replacement on April 6th. The new Chickadee Lift is expected to reopen for summer operations in July. ALL uphill travel is closed.
