The pass offers access to 27 legendary mountain destinations across five continents. Passholders receive two days at each destination, plus 50% off additional days. No blackout dates make it especially appealing for skiers who want the freedom to chase the calendar and the snow.
With destinations like Alta/Snowbird, Snowbasin, Jackson Hole, Aspen Snowmass, Big Sky, Sun Valley, Banff, Lake Louise, Niseko, Chamonix, and more, the Mountain Collective isn't necessarily about skiing the same mountain 30 times. It's about skiing 30 different mountains.
The perks
- Free Protect Our Winters membership. Every Mountain Collective passholder gets a complimentary one-year membership to POW, which is a great bonus for environmentally minded skiers.
- 50% off additional days. Don’t stop at the two included days. If you fall in love with a destination, additional days are half off.
- Friend & family savings. Passholders can get 25% off tickets for their crew, making it easier to bring along someone who doesn't have the pass.
- Lodging and experience discounts. Mountain Collective has partner offers beyond the chairlift, including lodging and specialty mountain experiences (heli-skiing, camper rentals, etc.).

Epic Pass: For the High-Mileage Skier

Maybe you're not interested in counting ski areas. Maybe you want to count days. If your ideal winter involves skiing as often as humanly possible, the Epic Pass is designed for the high-mileage skier.
The Epic network includes 90+ resorts around the world, with some of the biggest names in skiing: Park City Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte and Heavenly. If you live near a resort in The Epic network, there’s an obvious hometown advantage. But the real appeal is having a familiar home base while still being able to take your skis on the road, since the pass opens the door to a wide range of destinations.
And, Epic Mountain Rewards sweetens the deal beyond the lift ticket, with discounts on things like food and beverage, lodging, rentals, and lessons at participating resorts.
The Perks
- 20% off food, lodging, rentals, and lessons through Epic Mountain Rewards.
- Summer access. Eligible 2026–27 Epic Pass holders get free scenic lift access at participating resorts and 20% discounts on summer activities such as bike rentals, golf, food, and lodging.
- Epic Friend Tickets can be huge. Eligible season-long passholders can share discounts of up to 50% off lift tickets with friends and family.
- Your lift ticket can help finance next year's pass. Epic has run promotions where certain qualifying lift-ticket purchases can be applied as credit toward the following season's pass.
- International access can be surprisingly broad. Epic's partner network includes destinations in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Canada and Japan, among others.
Ikon Pass: For the Skier Who Wants It All

Perhaps you’re a skier who simply doesn’t want to choose. Powder? Yes! Big-mountain terrain? Absolutely! Family-friendly groomers? Of course!
That's where the Ikon Pass comes in. With 70+ destinations around the world, Ikon brings together an eclectic collection of major ski destinations. Utah is home to SIX resorts within the Ikon lineup! Outside of Utah, the list reads like a ski-trip wish list with Steamboat, Mammoth Mountain, Big Sky, Palisades Tahoe, and destinations throughout Canada, Japan, Europe, and beyond.
The Ikon Pass also includes perks beyond the chairlift, including Friends & Family discounts, select food and retail savings, First Tracks opportunities, and other travel and mountain experiences.
The Perks
- First Tracks. Select Ikon Pass destinations offer passholders early access to the mountain once per month from January through March. That's potentially three mornings of fresh corduroy or powder. No crowds. No lines.
- Up to 15% off food and retail at participating destinations.
- Up to 15 Friends & Family tickets at 25% off at participating destinations. That's potentially much more valuable for families than people realize.
- Bonus Mountains. Depending on the pass, additional mountains can be included beyond the headline destinations.
- Family savings are particularly interesting for 2026–27. Ikon is offering savings on additional children's passes, including $50 off each child pass with an adult Ikon Base Pass in the applicable offer.
- Refundable pass option. Ikon has refundable versions of the Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass, which takes some of the risk out of committing early.
Indy Pass: For the Independent-Mountain Adventurer
Utah resorts: Beaver Mountain and Eagle Point
Not every great ski day requires a gondola, a 3,000-foot vertical drop, or a famous resort village. Sometimes it's a quiet chairlift, a few inches of fresh snow, a lodge where everyone knows your name, and a mountain that still feels like a secret.
That's the spirit behind Indy Pass. With 300+ independent resorts across four continents, Indy is built around discovering ski areas that operate outside the mega-resort model. Passholders receive two days at participating resorts, with discounted additional days. Indy also offers access to cross-country resorts and additional discounts on experiences such as cat and heli-skiing.
Instead of asking, “How many days can I get at the biggest resorts?”, Indy encourages a different question: “How many new mountains can I discover?”
The Perks
- Indy Add-On Pass. If you already have an unlimited season pass at an eligible Indy partner resort, you can buy an Indy Add-On Pass at a reduced price.
- Night skiing counts. The two-day benefit can be used for all-day or night skiing at participating resorts.
- Cross-country skiing is included. The pass includes two trail-pass days at participating Indy Cross Country resorts.
- Cat and heli-skiing discounts. That's a pretty unusual benefit on a mainstream ski pass.
- Learn to Turn Pass. This is one of the coolest Indy innovations: a beginner-focused pass that combines three days of beginner skiing, rental equipment and a beginner lesson for $189 (kids and adults), with access to 40+ participating resorts.
