Top Ten Utah Powder Stashes

Top Ten Utah Powder Stashes

We are in it! April is one of the best months historically for Utah to see constant, deep powder. Resorts like Snowbird average almost 70 inches of the fluffy stuff during this month. So when most places are closing up shop, we're still skiing deep pow. In honor of the incredible season we've had, I wanted to provide a list of the top 10 powder stashes here in Utah.

For me, these stashes are the longest, most consistently steep lines that provide ample space to get powder lap after lap. Every ski resort in Utah has that run that makes your day, trip, or sometimes even season. Luckily a major perk of living in Utah is getting the chance to ski a lot of these resorts and finding the best runs at each one. Here is the list:

Alta Ski Area: Baldy Ballroom

Beaver Mountain: Beaver's Powder

Brian Head Ski Resort: Chair 5

Brighton: Scree Slope

Deer Valley Resort: Ontario Bowl

Park City Mountain, Canyon Village: 9990

Park City Mountain, Park City Base: Jupiter Bowl

Powder Mountain: Powder Country

Snowbird: Mineral Basin

Snowbasin Resort: John Paul Face

Solitude Mountain Resort: Honeycomb Canyon

Sundance Mountain Resort: Bishop's Bowl

So there it is! My list of favorite powder runs at each resort. Although the snow is still falling make sure to check the closing dates before going to check off some of these all-time runs on the next powder day you get out this season! Also, check out my post on the Top 10 Trophy Lines.
