I didn't have high expectations of the day, I thought if nothing else I would take a hike and get some exercise. The Sundown area was all fogged in. I skied down to the Cat pickup and Roger the Cat driver was sitting there waiting. He said it was partly sunny on the top of Lightning Ridge so I decided to go up.
The fog seemed to come and go and Roger said James Peak was open so I decided to hike up. When I got to the top I skied Carpe Diem (Seize The Day Run). I definitely seized the day! It was sooooo beautiful.
