Skiing, like most of life’s activities, requires just enough fitness to stay upright and enjoy the ride. Although a bit of strength and stability do help. Whether you’re getting on the bunny hill for the first time or trying to chase the kids down the slope, get up, get fit, and get ready to go boldly to places you’ve never gone before.

Snowbird comments:
Good morning Snowbird! It’s Owen here with your snow report. We are still waiting for snow. It’s time to get weird and start bringing out all the snow rituals you know. Today is looking to be on the warmer side again with partly sunny skies and temperatures looking to reach 46°. The snow will start firmer in the morning and should soften up as tempatures raise throughout the day. The groomers are going to be your best bet with Regular Johnson having been my favorite skiing as of late, the sun is hitting it just perfect and making for some great turns. For those who haven’t yet, come check out The Nest! We’ll have DJ Danny Z throwing down on the patio along with some really good food (seriously try the Butter Chicken). Today also marks the start of Hanukkah, join us for our lighting ceremony at the Cliff Lodge Front Desk at 5 pm. Everyone is welcome and those who can also bring their own menorahs. The Tram, Gadzoom, Wilbere, Chickadee and the Chickadee Conveyor will be running at 9 am, conditions permitting. Just a reminder, I know we are all stoked to be out on the mountain, but please remember that we have early season conditions. Ski and ride with caution and stay in control, it’ll make the experience better for everyone. If you aren’t up at The Bird today, seriously, what are you doing? Get up here! I’ll see you out there.
