Day 100!!!!!!!!
Today may go down as one of my all time favorite days of skiing at Alta ever. Even though I've skied this resort countless times, today had a different feel. As the snow continued to fall heavily, there was a bit of excitement in the air as to whether or not we would reach the magical 200 inch base on my 100th day of the season. Although we came up a little short in the 200 inch department, we didn't come up short on finding the deep untracked powder that Alta is so famous for.
As Katie and I were about to board the Wildcat lift for the first run of our day we saw Marc and Bobby from www.FirstTracksOnline.com. This was a game changer for Katie and I. You know when you ski a resort so many times you kind of fall into a routine, you know what you like so you ski it over and over again. While it's almost always great, you have the tendency to stop exploring other zones on the mountain. A big thanks to Marc and Bobby for opening my eyes and showing us places I never even imagined could exist. Like I said today was a GAME CHANGER!
