Snowbasin, UT (August 13, 2020) — Snowbasin Resort is pleased to announce dining improvements at Needles Lodge with the addition of ‘The Overlook,’ a new full-service bar, and renovations to the lodge servery. The updated servery will debut with a limited preview this Saturday in advance of full service operations kicking-off with the 2020-21 winter season on Wednesday, November 25th.
The new servery reflects many of the enhancements made at Earl’s Lodge leading into last winter and expands upon the high-quality offerings for which Snowbasin is known. Guests can come prepared to experience ease of guest flow, increased speed of service and new grab-and-go items this winter. Starting this weekend between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. the grill will be open with a condensed menu for guests to enjoy.
‘The Overlook’ adds a new food and beverage outlet to Snowbasin with extraordinary views of Snowbasin Resort and Ogden Valley from 8,700’ elevation. Offerings will include a variety of beer, wine and spirits and a specialty food menu opening with the 2020-21 ski season.
“We are excited to add The Overlook complete with a full-service bar, best enjoyed while soaking in the stunning views from majestic Needles Lodge. The Overlook will be a great addition to our award winning resort dining offering. I can’t imagine a better setting to unwind and recharge after some time on the slopes,” said General Manager Davy Ratchford.
“With tremendous guest accolades after last year’s upgrades to Earl’s Lodge servery, a similar renovation was completed in Needles Lodge this summer. Guest experience is our top priority, and these improvements will continue to build upon the high level of service our guests have come to expect. I look forward to sharing the new Needles Lodge with our guests, first with a preview this summer and the complete offering with the start of the ski season,” added Ratchford.
Season passes are available now with summer pricing through Labor Day Weekend. They feature multiple benefits, including summer gondola access and buddy vouchers for Premier Pass Holders, a new pass protection program, and 20% renewal discount for 2019-20 Pass Holders. Summer operations will continue on weekends through Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with enhanced safety measures in place.
