It's no secret that things quiet down for a few weeks after ski season wraps up. Most of us in Utah put the winter gear in the back of the garage, finally wash our ski clothes, and call our Moms and non-skiing buddies to catch up on what they've been doing for the last six months. We take trips to Moab, Sedona, Zion, Yellowstone. We change gears.
But I get a little depressed. I look at pictures, retell stories of the season, and go on hikes looking for the remnants of snow still on the peaks. I'm already saving funds for more delicious dinners and après parties on the slopes.
I am addicted to winter!
There, I said it. There is so much fun stuff to do in Utah this summer - just thinking about the concerts and events gets me excited. I'll try to keep you posted here and on Twitter about upcoming events, so stay tuned! Many resorts will be open for lift serviced biking and hiking, concerts, and adventures.

But I still want more. I want Ski Utah to be a year round stop in your web browsing (mostly because I'm not done talking about winter). Sure the snow is mostly gone, but I'm already thinking about next season. I need some new gear. I sucked last year at staying fit, so I'd love you to hold me accountable. I want to hear stories of your summer adventures, and your ideas for what it is going to be like next season. What do you look forward to most?
So keep in touch with us here, on Facebook, and share your ideas. I can't be the only one ready for the snow flakes to fly again soon!
