This was supposed to be the day in-between storms, Ha, what a joke! Yesterday we skied 16" inches at Alta and thought that was the best day of the year. Today we skied Solitude after an additional 5" fell this morning and this is what we were left with. Simply the best day of the season so far. I have a feeling I'm going to be saying that a lot this week.
To think there are people out there that think we don't have snow in Utah this winter, strange… I'll let the video speak for itself. As I'm writing this it's absolutely dumping in Park City. Forecast calls for 24"-36" additional inches of snow through Friday morning. It is so on Powderhounds! The Powder Posse will be out in full effect for the rest of the week, you can count on that!

Nick, of all the major resorts in Park City and Salt Lake I'd say Solitude holds powder the longest just due to the fact of lack of ski traffic. Try the black forest or, the trees just west of the Honeycomb return chair. I'm sure you'll be happy in there.

How well does solitude hold powder days later? Am thinking about supplementing my snowbird pass next year with one to solitude for those days between storms

The video is hosted through youtube. The video issues are coming from your end. Youtube is encountering no problems.

Watched the Solitude powder hound video posted today. It was aggravating to watch as it froze every two seconds. I checked my broadband speed (20 Mbps down, 34 Mbps up) and I have the latest Flash player and a more than sufficient video card & processor. I think your hosting servers are having issues...
